Buy a Shirt:-)

Here is the back story:

So recently a few of the freshmen have thought of ideas that can help improve the sustainability of the school. This would be great for the community, the school, and the earth. We have composed a list of actions that require no money such as encouraging reusable BPA-free water bottles instead of one-use paper cups, encourage more paper-less work, recycling more, habits of printing on 2 sides, and getting into the habit of sharing music sheets. Also we have thought of a few things that require a little bit of money such as rain water collectors for the front gardens instead of using the sprinklers, this will save money and lessen our water usage. We were also thinking that a community garden would be great for the community; it would be a great activity for the students, especially the younger ones. The garden could also contribute to Sage so that they could have some of the vegetables grown by the school. We have also thought of eliminating our waste at sporting events by buying the reusable squirt bottles for the sport teams so that more than one person can use the water bottle while still being sanitary; that way, we are not wasting so many plastic bottles. We understand that these do require money so we have thought of the idea of selling t-shirts as a fundraiser for the actions that require money. We are selling some really cool shirts for $20 (I will have a picture below) through the booster website ( that I will also attach a url for) that allows us to get some of the funds that come from the t-shirt. Our goal is to be able to sell at minimum 150 shirts, this will raise a total of $1,308 to go to our sustainability fund for the school. These are for a really great cause and they look super cool so yall should totally buy one and tell everyone else about these

The Alcat Test objectively classifies a patient's response to each test substance as reactive, borderline or non-reactive. Based on these classifications, a cus-tomized elimination/rotation diet may be designed to effectively eliminate the specific triggers of chronic immune system activation. By reducing this ongoing burden - and in particular, by reversing the sustained and destructive inflammation it produces - normal body functions and immune system balance can be improved.

SPRING CSA 2015

Winter CSA is coming to a close soon and Spring CSA begins on March 25 for the Ville Platte delivery. We have some old people coming back and new ones coming on board for the Spring. We will need to have at least 20 people to keep the delivery coming to Family Clinic and Kims Total Image in Vidrine. Inglewood would like to have a count by the end of next week. It is $350 for 12 weeks of produce delivered once a week on Wednesdays. Please let me know if you are interested in Eggs and how many dozens you want weekly. If you are looking for a Breakfast Recipe that contains eggs this one is Great!!

Ingredients

1 ripe banana
2 eggs
1-2 teaspoons vanilla
Dash of cinnamon
1-2 Tablespoons crushed pecans
Toppings: pecans, sliced almonds, fruit, butter (optional)

Instructions

Add banana, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, and pecans to a medium bowl and mash together (the batter will be lumpy).
Grease skillet with butter and turn on stove to medium heat.
Add the enter mixture to the skillet.
As the mixture cooks, continue to stir and mash.
Once fully cooked, remove from heat and place in a bowl. Top with optional ingredients.

If we are able to get 10 people to sign up for a CSA $200 for 10 weeks of produce they will deliver it weekly on Saturdays starting Jan 10th-Mar 14th. You would be responsible for the pick up from me at a specified time either in Grand Prairie area or Ville Platte which ever we discuss that works for both parties. We already have six people interested and are looking for four more. Please call the Clinic and let me know:-) 337-363-3180
